Amrit Vani [2007]

Combine the meditative quality of Deep Jale, the rich texture of Marga Darshan, and the live energy of Satsang, and you get Amrit Vani (Eternal Word).

The backbone of the album was recorded live in a church building-converted-studio in Cincinnati called "the Monastery." Pete and I then flew all over America, recording our favorite artists, some of whom were more famous than we were worthy of, but were very gracious, and contributed incredible sounds to the recording.

The devotion on this album came through, as it often does, out of pain. This was a tough year emotionally, relationally, and even theologically, on the band, and it required grace, tenderness, and a healthy desperation that won't let go of an original calling, to pull through and remain faithful. Amrit Vani is Aradhna refined in the fire of God's gentle, but firm discipline.
